Exhibition of the project, "Ishi". A multichannel film installation and assemblage of objects picturing the life of 'Mrs Ishi': the last living person, who tries to understand and make peace with her/his dying culture through a series of film diaries that gradually reveal to us the post-human nature of her futuristic world. The artefacts of his/her time and our own take on a peculiar poignancy as old letters, corroded metals, and strange half-animal machines are used to evoke themes of loss, ageing, decay, and transcendence. Overlapping videos and objects bear witness to the last days of human dominance on Earth.
